Six more 365s

So that makes my total 16. I cut out about 20 more muslin squares and pressed a whole bunch of strings so I have everything ready if I'd like to pop out just one or two.

My addition to row robin

That's my row for Zora on the bottom. And yes, a couple are paper pieced. And no, I have not changed my mind about paper piecing, I still hate it. I had different patterns picked out which were all paper pieced....they were tossed with a string of expletives that actually woke the kid in his room across the hall. I found some traditionally pieced substitutes and was very glad to have this leave my house :-)

The first ten of 365 in the 365 Challenge for Heartstrings.
Read about it here.

Just a quickie

A couple of blocks for lotto at Mailblocks. Pattern is Cotton Reels from Quilterscache.com. its such a simple little block, but done in controlled scrappy with the black corners, I can see a lot of potential. Best of all, it allowed me to use only fabrics from my scrap bin!

Seasons Round Robin

My addition to Judy's Robin. Pretty isn't it? She asked that her center be set on point...wow, yeah, well it is, but not without much hair pulling by me during the math processes involved. I was very lucky that this first round featured fall colors, I had everything I needed in my stash since those are colors I am normally drawn to. Now, when I have to do a spring themed round, I will have to go shopping for sure!
I hope she's pleased. Now off it goes to Nancy as I await the next round to me.

Pink and Brown again and again

How could I have known several years ago what was going to happen to me when I started swapping 6" pink and brown blocks? I would have never thought that three years later I am still making and swapping. Of course I have nothing compared to my friend Susan who has over 100, but when will this theme finally leave my poor head alone and allow itself to be made? Perhaps when I finally find myself through all my pinks and browns? Maybe I should stop storing them together on my shelves and hopefully rid myself of the temptation?
New blocks created for yet another 6" Pink and Brown swap at Mailblocks.
